Beakovich Olive Farm

Kastelir-Labinci, Brnobici 74

OPG BEAKOVIĆ is located on the west coast of Istria. The farm and olive groves are part of the municipality of Kaštelir, situated 10 km from the town of Poreč. Our olive groves are located at an altitude of 150-200 m above sea level and face west. Currently, we cultivate 4.5 hectares of land for olives and plan to expand further.

The olive grove consists of indigenous varieties: Istarska bjelica, Buža, and Rošinjola, as well as foreign varieties: Leccino, Pendolino, Frantoio, Moraiolo, and Coratina. The olive harvest begins in mid-October, depending on the ripeness of the fruit and weather conditions. Processing occurs within 24 hours of harvesting.

Cossetto Winery

Kastelir-Labinci, Roskici 10

Our main activities are viticulture and winemaking on 8 hectares of vineyards in an optimal location on red soil, at an altitude of 200 meters, facing south, southeast, and southwest. With such a small vineyard area, we focus on producing high-quality wines for the discerning gourmet market. Our core business lies in the production of wines from indigenous grape varieties such as Istrian Malvasia, Teran, and Borgonja. Additionally, we cultivate internationally recognized grape varieties that enrich our range of Istrian wines, such as Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Muscat Blanc.

Karlic Tartufi

52420 Buzet, Paladini 14

The current truffle cultivation activity of the Karlić family from Paladini, near Buzet, was started by Mr. Ivan Rašpolić in 1966. At that time, the Motovun forest was much larger compared to today. The white and black truffles found in this area are among the highest quality truffles in Istria. One of the most productive truffle spots was located on what is now the site of Lake Butoniga!
